Education is very significant for this life. People are born in the condition of knowing nothing. They are only able to cry loudly. They can not express their thoughts, interact with people around them, and say what they want to. They only can cry to give signals for people around them to express their thoughts. Then, with the helps of the relatives, they can start babbling. They start saying little by little. Beside the helps of the relatives, they also learn to speak independently by learning whatever in around them. And eventually, they can speak as the adult. After that, they need the further education for developing their life. Therefore, family plays vital
role for the development of children. Education in family is being the foundation of the further education of the children. In family, they will learn the basic matters that will be their own characteristics. Then they will socialize in the society which there are many negative and positive influences. So that it is the function of family to create their good characteristics. Comenius (1592-1670), an expert of didactic, states that education in family is very important for the developing childreen. He also emphasizes on the early education should be in a family which is callled as schola-materna.
Students are like flower. They can be very great if education is planted since early, with full of affection, softness, and understanding. Such as a flower, they need education as the fertilizer and water to help their growth. Such as a wilted flowers when they are not spirit or even lazy, they should be given support for being more enthusiastic. Such as flowers, they should be kept carefully. They can not be given violence or even force because it only can break them. If they are given education be carefully and with full of affection, they will learn every things like a flowing water. If students have been educated well, they will be like aromatic and beautiful flowers. They will have wide knowledge about this world. Because of their brilliance, many people will love and proud of them. Such as flowers, they can be so worth and expensive. For their brilliance, they can create innovations and discoveries to make this life more useful. So that, they can be very influential for their environment and can bring their environment into the better life. Such is how important education which plays big role for our life.
Education is being the controller of this world. This world always follows where the education move on because it always creates innovations and discoveries for this world which is very crucial and beneficial for the development of this world. For instance Thomas Alva Edison, he learned as long as his life. He learned in a formal school only three months in his childhood. After that, his own mother taught him reading, writing, and mathematics. Then he liked reading every thing so much. During his life, he was always curious for anything he had not known yet. So that he conducted many experiments. And eventually he discovered thousands discoveries. The famous discoveries are lamp, gramophone, and film camera. All his discoveries are very important for this world. These three discoveries have big effect for the development particularly in America and generally in this world.
Edacation also plays a massive role for the development of the country. The lawness of education in a certain cauntry can be serious obstacle in the process of development of the country. Japan is the right example of how education can play a big role for country development. After World War II, economy of Japan was going down and down. The economy was shattered. After that, education in Japan was significantly and dramatically increasing. Consequently, Japan can get up from the ruin. More over, Japan can dominate most of world economy. Now, Japan is being one of the very influential countries in this world for the quality education. That can be evidence that education has big influence for the development of the country.
Students as the target of education have crucial role for the country. Theoritically, student means as a child who is not adult yet, who needs guidance and help from other adult, in order to do his duties as the creature of God, as a citizen of a country, as a member of society, and as an autonomous individual (Suryosubroto, 2010:20). From that definition, it is very obvious that students also have duties for the country. Students are the expectation of the country to reach all the desires of the country and to be the better country. Therefore, the main duty of students for the country is to prepare their self seriously for taking a part in the process of development and progressing in the future.
For their creativities and innovations, students are being the agent of change. Sometimes, their creativities and innovations can make some big and valuable changes particularly for the country. The creativities are like unstoppable and contuniously developed. The Indonesian students also have given many contributions for Indonesia itself. It has been proved that Indonesia can solve some national problems for the innovations of the students.
Global warming is being a world problem where many countries are trying to over come. In Indonesia, the effects of global warming are felt very dangerous such as climate changes, poluted air, a very hot air, etc. In fact, Indonesian students also pay a big attention to global warming which is being a massive concern in this world. They are motivated to do something useful to overcome global warming. So that they are thinking deeply to find the way out.
Rubbish is one of the global warming causes because it can not be asundered and cause poluted soil. In this case, students of SMK N Kimia Madiun invented that rubbish of plastic can create oil. Plastic waste can be changed into oil which is popularly called as plastic oil but it is still used for stove and lamp. To create plastic oil, it is processed by simple device i.e. 3 kilograms gas storage to burn the plastic waste. The vapors resulted from the burning are stored in a glass storage. The result of condensation becomes oil and can be used as alternative oil which is safety.
The invention of students of SMK N Kimia Madiun is very usefull. It is very helpful to overcome the rubbish problem. As we know that rubbish are difficult to be asundered and its vapor is very dangerous for our respiration if it is burned. Beside that, this invention can give us the economical oil which need no much money.
To over come global warming, SMU 1 Teladan Yogyakarta invented the cheap muffler of motor cycle which can reduce the emission by using plasmulator. This plasmulator is made of simple materials, such as used beverage cans, metal propeller, and dynamo DC 12 V. One side of the used beverage cans is cut and the other side is inserted plasma and dynamo inside. The plasma itself contained cabel with wrapper elastic which has been stripped and metal electrode. And it is catched with the out side of used beverage cans by bolt.
Now, how can the plasmulator reduce emission? The flowing gas which come out from the motor cycle will move the propeler. The motion energy of the propeler will be changed to be electric energy. So that electrode will have a certain capacity. That certain capacity of electrode will make the compound of motor bike emission pulled into plasma. So that it can not be exited to the free air.
The strengthness of this invention is on the price which is so cheap and achievable. By simple materials, it can help overcoming global warming by reducing emission. Now there is no reason to be reluctant on overcoming global warming.
The next invention is coming from medical sector. In the last of 2011, Indonesian doctors, Dr Warsito and friends, were invented a therapy device which can cure cancer at all. It is very amazing because cancer is a dangerous disease and even there are not a medicine that can cure from this disease. This cancer therapy device had been examined in Apollpo hospital in Chennai, India and 50 cancer patients in Indonesia. In that hospital, Dr Warsito presented that cancer therapy device in front of doctor team and the chief of research and development (Litbang) of Apollpo hospital in Chennai, India. That presentasion was also attended by Dr Sankar Srinivasan, a certified board doctor from America who has right to give recomendation of sertificate from Food and Drug Administration (FDA). After the presentaion, they admitted that it was amazing invention. For getting the certificate, this device is still examined in many countries to prove the superiority of this device.
In the beginning of 2012, the achievment of automotive sector of Indonesia was increasing for the many students of SMK who were able to raft such a car. It is started by students of SMK Negeri 2 Surakarta and SMK Warga Surakarta who rafted car by themself. Then it is followed by the achievment of students in SMK N 1 Singosari, Malang who are able to raft 5 cars. Those are great achievments because they are still students of senior high school, but they had been able to make creation. By those creations, it will be very useful for the growth of Indonesia Economy. If the government do support those creations, surely the economy of Indonesia will increase rapidly. By this creation, our country can reduce import and its expensive cost. Beside that, the nationalism will be created because the awareness of using our own product can be defended.
It is very obvious that students play a massive role for the progressing of a country. For their creativities and innovations, they are able to invent some achievments that very helpful to overcome the country problems. In our country, Indonesia, the students have helped to solve some crucial problems. For solving global warming, SMK N Kimia Madiun invented that rubbish of plastic can create oil which is cheap and achievable. It can help reducing rubbish which is difficult to be asundered and its vapor is very dangerous for our respiration if it is burned. Then SMU 1 Teladan Yogyakarta also invented the cheap muffler of motor cycle which can reduce the emission by using plasmulator. The medical sector also gives contribution for the country by creating a cancer therapy device which has been proved its superiority. Recently, automotive sector have achievements that many students of SMK who are able to raft the car by them selves. Actually, Indonesia have many great generations that can compete with other countries. Then, just the duty of the government how to optimalize those students achievements not for wasting money for their own necessities.
