Although TEFL II has relation with Psycholinguistic, but that question can not be included into TEFL II because that question asks about the study of Psycholinguistics itself not the relationship between Psycholinguistics and TEFL II. But there are some questions with too long and unessential Informations which can bother students in understanding the question. For example multiple choice question number: 7 and 29. Question number 7: according to Morley, Listening is not a passive skill. It has three communicative listening modes as the following, except… This question is too long and contains unessential information. Listening is not a passive skill is unessential information and even can bother students to understand the task. So that the question should be: according to Morley, Listening has three communicative listening modes as the following, except… Other example is question number 29: The basic principles behind memorization are obvious. Obvious and more easily are the clues of the answer that refers to meaningful, written in the learners’ native language and grammatical. Because it is an exception, the students will be easy to choose simple as the correct answer. Other example is essay question number 5 has some clues in multiple choice question number 19. Although it has relationship with TEFL II, but it still include in the most difficult category of TEFL II. (Score:2)
7. All the questions in TEFL II Mid Term are arranged orderly. It is started with the easiest question and increases to be more difficult and most difficult. In the middle of the questions, there are mixtures between easy and difficult items in order to make students not too confused with the items. The questions also keep away from overlapping. They are ordered based on the material in TEFL II. The sequences are teaching Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing, and Vocabulary. But there still can be found some dependent items. For example: question number 13 with 14 and 22 with 23. Question number 13 is closely related and depends on question number 14 and so do question number 22 with 23. (Score:2)
8. The test items are very appropriate and not deviated from the curriculum. They have presented good questions. But the test items are very far from the material had been discussed in the class with the lecturer. In the class, students are demanded to be autodidact and autonomous. In the class, lecturer just discussed a little bit of TEFL II material. The lecturer mostly discussed about structure instead, not TEFL II material. It can make students difficult to understand the main subject in the class. Because the lecturer put a big attention in Structure. The main subject, TEFL II, is very ignored by the lecturer. The lecturer only ordered students to study by themselves. (Score:3)
